WHAT’S HAPPENING TO ME!?

Filed under: My School Life, Uncategorized — karah @ 8:44 pm

This days, or weeks, my thoughts have been changing.

My thoughts about life, homework, attitude, and most importantly, friendship.

I begin to think less about stuff, and pretend that I don’t care. Just like wearing a mask beautiful in the inside, but ugly on the outside. I am probably hurting things without knowing it, just like covering my eyes with a blind fold.

And sometimes pretending to be someone you’re not, can hurt your friends.

Writing here……… From SUMMER VACATION!

Filed under: My Life At Home — karah @ 11:26 pm

This is my first post since summer vacation started. There are some good AND bad news.

Well, this is a “Choose Your Own Adventure Story”. So, YOU get to choose to hear the bad news or the good news, or you can read both. If you want to hear the bad news, go to (1) and if you want to hear the good news, go to (2).

(1) Bad News

This week, my brother is at a camp, so I’m bored to death! I still have to do a whole load of homework, even though its summer vacation. Almost all of my friends are out of the country now.

(2) Good News

I joined this COOL orchestra for flute. It is SOOOOO COOL. And, my mom said if I got first place, or whatever place for a piano contest, I can get a Toy Poodle (by the way, a Toy Poodle is a type of dog, seriously)! But, well this is probably bad news, it is almost impossible to get first place, or what ever place, because the first place last year is going to international competitions.

Well, I wish I can write every week, but I still have loads to do!

My TRIP!

Filed under: My School Life — karah @ 12:42 pm

OK everybody! You’d probably think I’d write something about “BORING” right? BUT, and here comes the big BUT, I AM NOT! I am going to tell you about my field trip! I went to the aquarium in Ping-Dong, and I am not going to write about that. ’cause all we did was just learn, learn, learn, and I’ve already been there before. So, instead, I am going to tell you about my graduation trip in Yoho. Yoho is a resort with a whole lot of swimming pools. First day, we went swimming in “Lazy River”. There is a big water slide. But, it wasn’t exactly fun. Well, anyways, next day, we went swimming and went to the beach. Third day, the day we leave, guess where we went? Don’t know? Well the answer is very simple. SWIMMING! I know this may sound boring to you, but it is a whole lot fun! When we arrived at Hsinchu, we almost couldn’t get of the HSR. Why? Because some stupid father is blocking our way. How? He carried his baby carriage with him and is slowly packing it away. OK, enough of this. This is the picture of the hotel we went to. …… Don’t see anything? Why? Because I am too tired to put a picture on! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Drama

Filed under: My friends — karah @ 12:34 pm

6002bwdrama-queen-posters.jpgThis Monday, our group got extra credit for performing first. Our group included Wei-Wei, Angela, Eve, Alex, Eric, Jerry, and Richard. We got extra credit because we were the only one ready. Emily kept complaining that she was the one doing all the work. Nicole was nice, as usual, she is still my friend. OK, let’s stop talking about drama. Emily sticks to me too much. Nicole is fine. Jenny is not exactly trustworthy. Maryanne is fine. Wei is nice. Angela is my very good friend. Hantine doesn’t hate me, as usual, and very funny. Eric is crazy. Hantine, Angela, and I pretends that Eric is a stranger. Hantine says Eric has rabies. DONE! One more thing, my grades are going up!

Spring Break

Filed under: My Life At Home — karah @ 12:33 pm

Spring Break! Everybody has something to say about it! Me? Nothing! All I did was: Stayed at home, had a tennis match, went swimming, went to Emily’s house, bought books, and went to this place in Taipei to ride on a train to tour this old mine. OK, I did do some interesting things, but after all, except for Taipei, I didn’t go any where special.Angela, Jenny, and Nicole all went to Ken-ting, Eric went to Canada, and Maryanne went to France! Well, enough of me blabbing, let’s start with the tennis match. I got 3rd place, it wasn’t because I was good or anything, it was by luck. Swimming is not interesting, because all I did was swim, swim, swim. I went to Emily’s for US History project, but we ended up playing with her toys. I bought the book ‘Truth or Dare- All Mates Together’. I am not going to describe the trip to Taipei because it is long. I can’t believe I can type so much, well, that’s it!

I learned……..

Filed under: My Life At Home — karah @ 12:33 pm

These are 10 things I learned in these past few weeks:

1. I learned that class can be boring sometimes

2. I learned a million Chinese words (it is driving me crazy)

3. I learned about similar and congruent figures

4. I learned about geometric figures

5. I learned about rays, lines, and line sediments

6. I learned what happened after the Revolutionary war

7. I learned about verbs……( forgot name)
8. I learned how to draw Egyptian pictures ( some people are too selfish to share the  chart of the Egyptian letters)

9. I learned about landforms

10. I learned that some boys and girls in our class can be really mean

I am done with my 10 things.

Our Up-Coming Graduation Trip

Filed under: Uncategorized — karah @ 12:25 pm

I heard that we are going on a graduation trip. We will probably have a pillow fight. A really good thing is that we get to choose who to share a room with. I think there will be a TV in every room. Mr. Ward and Ms. Chang  is coming with us. I will maybe choose Emily, Nicole and Wei-Wei to be with. I think we will have to wake up very early. That is one of the bad things. The other bad thing is that we are only going for 1 and 2 half days. That must be very short. But, we will do a lot activities is the resort. I wish there is a lot of facilities for us to play with. There might be a swimming pool. The best thing is that we will have a Barbecue! I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really look forward to it.
